High Latitude Rules

High-latitude rules determine how the calculation handles conditions where standard twilight-based times require adjustment. This most often affects Fajr and Isha in locations and seasons where twilight does not reach the usual angles.

Supported values are:

middle_of_the_night
seventh_of_the_night
twilight_angle

The default is middle_of_the_night. Set high_latitude_rule explicitly only when your chosen calculation convention requires a different rule. This option changes the astronomical calculation; it is not an Azan adjustment.
